What started in 1999 as a small 3,000 sq. ft. grocery store has grown into a 30,000 sq. ft. international food market. By 2001, we introduced our in-house pita bread bakery, bringing fresh, traditional flavors to San Antonio. Over the years, our store has expanded, becoming a cultural hub where customers find high-quality products and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As one of the first specialty food markets on Wurzbach Road, Alibaba’s presence has been so impactful that city leaders are considering renaming the area to “Silk Road.” We take pride in preserving food traditions and creating a shopping experience that connects people to their heritage.
